Hi there. I’m Joelle. The correct pronunciation of my name is often a great ice breaker.

(Hint: It rhymes with a French word for Christmas.)

As a communications professional, I’m keenly aware of the many distractions and competitors for time in our modern society, and how they’ve impacted dating and romantic connections. If you’ve ever hesitated to approach someone, been “ghosted,” or struggled to convey or decipher tone through a text message, you’re not alone.

Add to that the Covid epidemic’s overhaul of our social spaces and WNC’s experience of Hurricane Helene in 2024 (collective trauma, anyone?), and it’s easy to see why reaching for a game/app on your phone might be more appealing than putting yourself out there to meet someone in real life. What would that even look like?

Fret not. If you’d like to learn communication skills tailored for the romantically focused, ones that will help you not only help you find real connection, but nourish it, let’s talk.
